Arts, fashion and design by young up-and-coming creators have become something of a staple in Prague or Bratislava. It is not so usual though to have these creative soirees in smaller regional towns. That's why the efforts of the recently started project Fresh Market can be even more appreciated. Levice, a district town in south of Slovakia will host the presentation of fashion, design and creative arts on 1 September.

Daniel Klag's musical world is drenched in spheric aural explorations that instantly transport the listener into the ether. His new album Weird Fiction, out on Prague-based label AM Discs, is inspired by HP Lovecraft, Algernon Blackood and Lord Dusany. We've caught up with the maths teacher from New York to talk about his sonic work.

Pena is a fourty-minute documentary that was created as a 'side product' during shooting a music video. Unwittingly turning into a portrait of Prague homeless, living in various locations throughout the city. The timing of the documentary is prescient, as the city struggles to deal with the issue of homelessness. Check it out here: http://www.penafilm.cz/
