An interview with Prague arts collective strcprstskrzkrk that apart from design and fashion is also active in the music scene thanks to the audiovisual project 1A2V1.

Kdo jsou Strcprstskrzkrk?
Projekt stcprstskrzkrk jsme založili s vizí multifunkčního projektu, který se zabívá různými věcmi. Momentálně fungujeme jako grafické studio, které se zabívá vším, co nás zajímá..což není jenom grafika jako taková, ale spousta věcí, které se točí kolem..konkrétní specifikace asi neexistuje, když bude chtít někdo navrhnou tetování, plakát, nebo jméno pro své novorozeně, jsme tady..strcprstskrzkrk by měl být v budoucnu i mini labelem, který zastřešuje nové hudební projekty, jak graficky tak hudebně, zatím je v pořadí můj projekt 1A2V1 a připravující super rapová trojka MARSMELOUN, ale to je ještě ve hvězdách..Dá se říct že celý projekt je stále na začátku, fungujeme v něm já a můj kamarád Ondráš a ještě jeden utajený kus.

Co všechno v rámci projektu děláte?
Řeší spoustu věcí, ať už jde o grafický design, hudbu, život, nebo co bude k obědu.

Na loňském Famufestu měly vaše trička úspěch. Chystáte něco podobného i do budoucnosti?
Vymysleli jsme koncept Samovýroby triček a chytlo se to víc než jsme čekali,
nakonec jsme každej den, kolem drůhý ráno, museli násilím odhánět zájemce..
v člověku se pak probouzí i ta nejvíc skrytá agrese..juchů

Kde se dají sehnat vaše věci?
Naše věci se dají sehnat hlavně na www.strcprstskrzkrk.cz. Občas se oběví i mimo web, ale k tomu není moc prostoru

Co plány na rok 2009?
Tento rok plánujeme hlavně hudební produkci, ale nějaká ta nová kolekce oblečení se určitě taky oběví.

Kolikrát po sobě dokážete říct název vašeho projektu?
Dvaadvacetkrát kdykoliv.

Who is Strcprstskrzkrk?
We have established Stcprstskrzkrk as a multipurpose project that does a lot of various things. Currently, we are functioning as a graphic design studio that deals with everything that we are interested in – not only graphic design but also other related things. There are no concrete specifications, if someone would like a tattoo, poster or a name for their newborn child, we will do it. Strcprstskrzkrk should also function as a minilabel in future, an umbrella for new music projects. This should apply both for music and graphic design. Right now we have our project 1A2V1 and the rap trio MARSMELOUN but that is still up in the air. The project is still in its beginnings with me, my friend Ondráš and another secret member. 

What activities does the project encompass?
Lot of things, be it graphic design, music, life or what we will have for lunch.

On last year’s Famufest Festival you had a stall with T-shirts that people could design themselves. Do you plan anything similar in future?
We came up with the concept of “Make your own T-shirts” and it turned out much more successful than we had thought. We had to literally physically discourage more people from taking part in this…

Where can we buy your stuff?
Mainly online through our website www.strcprstskrzkrk.cz. Sometimes also in other places but there’s not so much time to sort this out.

What about your plans for 2009?
This year we are focusing on music production but there should also be a new fashion collection.

Twenty-two times easy.
