Video works by Prague-based Dana Machajová. These works are her end-of-the-year videos at the Film Academy in Prague.

Shledání/Reunion explores the topic of naturalness and the deconstruction of a principle - convention on two levels. The first deconstructed principle is the topic of a traditional still-life fruit piece, the second is gender bipolarity. The viewer is lead to the discovery of this intention through disruptions of his or hers expectations. The first disruption penetrates the still life with movement. Subsequently, the viewer realizes that the act of eating fruit is reversed. The third deconstruction disrupts a cultural convention - the bipolarity of gender.
