apa.the.rat je rodák z Košíc, ktorý žije v Prahe. V minulosti pôsobil v kapele Sviežime rytmo a, odkedy sa presťahoval, venuje sa robeniu eletroniky, kde sa mu jeho skúsenosti, získané pri hraní na gitaru, vyplatili pri nahraní živých vstupov do tejto hudby. Neostáva len pri živom hraní na gitaru a dopĺňa svoj album hraním na basu, rôznymi samplami a spevmi hosťujúceho speváka. Album REBORN sa dá prirovnať k inteligentnému drum and bassu, nujazzu a downtepmu, kde sa tieto štýly odvážne a netradične vinú dokopy. Na albume sa nachádza 13 pestrých skladieb. 
 
apa.the.rat was born in Košice and lives in Prague. He has plaid in a band called Sviežime rytmo and since the time he moved to Prague, he devotes his time to production of electronic music, making use of his skills gained during playing guitar and utilizing these skills to record live sounds for his music. He does not stall at playing live guitar but also he replenishes his album with bass, various samples and guest singer..s voice. Album REBORN can be likened to intelligent drum..n..bass, nujazz and downtempo whereas he bravely and unconventionally winds these influences together.
